Clarity, Versatility, and Growth: Luma Office Collection with Larger Desk and Storage Credenza
Versatile design and positive consumer reception drive rapid expansion of the modern workspace collection.
CHANTILLY, VA–September 2025 – Following the successful launch of the Luma Office Collection earlier this year, BDI Furniture is expanding the line with two highly requested additions: a 72-inch desk—available in both stationary and lift versions—and a versatile storage credenza.
Since arriving in stores this summer, Luma has received a strong response from consumers seeking a balance of clarity, function, and style in their workspaces. Designed to adapt to the realities of modern work—whether at home, in a shared office, or in a conference room—Luma blends clean lines, refined materials, and thoughtful engineering to support productivity without sacrificing design.
“The response to Luma has been outstanding,” said Jeff Bare, Director of Product at BDI. “Customers are gravitating toward its light aesthetic and versatile functionality. The demand for larger work surfaces and more integrated storage came quickly, and we’re excited to deliver on those needs.”
New Additions Designed for Versatility
72-Inch Desk – With an expansive top surface, the new desk size functions beautifully as a spacious workstation, a small conference table, or even a dining table in multipurpose spaces. It is available in both stationary and lift (sit+stand) versions, featuring BDI’s unique four-leg adjustable system for enhanced stability and programmable height control.
Storage Credenza – Designed for today’s hybrid work needs, the credenza features two side compartments—one with a pull-out tray sized for a printer, the other with adjustable shelving. A center drawer stack includes two storage drawers and a secure file drawer that accommodates both letter and legal sizes. All three compartments lock with a single key, keeping work and personal items secure.
Designers, retailers, and media are invited to see Luma—alongside BDI’s complete portfolio—at the High Point Furniture Market, October 25–29, 2025, IHFC DesignCenter, Space D-724.
A Collection Designed for Modern Work
The Luma Collection features satin-etched glass desktops available in soft Dune or Black, paired with powder-coated leg bases. Storage pieces are crafted in Natural Walnut with matching glass tops, creating a unified look across the workspace. Accessories, including a keyboard storage drawer and an adjustable back panel, further enhance usability. From compact home offices to collaborative team settings, Luma continues to prove that workspace furniture can be as refined as it is functional.
